Why we exist

Health. Forward.

  • Our mission: break down the barriers that stop good health innovation reaching patients.
  • So more of it is safe, trusted and used, in as many lives as possible.

Why I started Qyro.

I was born into a family where entrepreneurship and community sat at the centre of everything. You built things, and you looked after the people around you.

Maybe that’s all you really need to know about what Qyro stands for.

When I came into healthcare, I was surprised by how hard it is for good technology to reach patients. Brilliant teams spend months trying to understand compliance and rebuilding the same evidence for every buyer. The people buying have no easy way to check it.

Our mission is to break those barriers down. When innovators can prove they are safe quickly, and the people buying can trust that proof, more good technology reaches more patients.

What we hold ourselves to.

Learning

Standards change, and so do we. Every audit, every customer and every mistake teaches us something.

Doing the right thing

We would rather tell you you are not ready than sell you a certificate. Patient safety comes before any deadline.

Accountability

We own what we put our name to. If we said it, we do it. If we got it wrong, we say so.

Rigour

Every clause checked and every hazard traced. Healthcare deserves evidence that stands up.

Respect

For patients, for the clinicians who carry the risk, and for teams doing hard things with little time.

The people who sign their name.

In clinical safety, someone qualified has to stand behind the record. These are the people who do.

Zak Yahiya

Founder and CEO. Zak has worked on both sides of the record. For a provider, he rapidly built large teams and helped build a major new private hospital. For a supplier, he ran a health technology business, won major NHS contracts and brought medical devices to market in the UK, Europe and Asia. A chartered accountant who studied economics, his focus is now on scaling health tech innovation, AI and software companies.

Balraj Chohan

Clinical Safety Officer. Balraj brings more than sixteen years in private and community pharmacy, where a small error reaches a patient quickly. He brings the same care to every hazard log and safety case he signs.

Our expert network

Clinical safety officers, regulatory advisors, fractional quality leaders and security specialists, working alongside the core team.
